Wiltrice Jackson, mother of one of Antonio Brown’s children, called on authorities to arrest the former wide receiver for failing to make child support payments to her 15-year-old daughter, Antanyiah.
According to Jackson’s complaint, the former Pittsburgh Steelers receiver owes her nearly $31,000 in child support so far.
“I do want him arrested because, right now, he is making fun of the judge, of everything, because he thinks he is untouchable,”Jackson said.
Brown’s history
Florida courts already issued two arrest warrants against Brown this year for the same cause.
The first one was on April 14 for a debt of $30,000. The second was on August 9, for a $15,000 debt, plus a fine of $5,000. The player avoided jail on both occasions by paying the required amounts.
Beyond child support, Brown has been in trouble with the law on several occasions.
In 2019, Jackson accused him of hitting her during a domestic dispute. In 2020, police cars arrived at Brown’s home to arrest him for being involved in an assault and burglary incident. That same year, a judge issued an arrest warrant for beating his then-girlfriend, Chelsie Kyriss.
Brown as father
Wiltrice Jackson’s most recent accusation goes beyond money, said Pascal Michel, a lawyer for Brown’s former girlfriend.
According to the lawyer, Jackson wants Brown to be more involved in raising Antanyiah, who is following in her father’s footsteps in sports.
According to Jackson, the 15-year-old has developed a love for athletics and participates on her school’s track and field team. Thanks to her talent, around 80 schools have shown interest in recruiting her, including the universities of Miami and Oregon.
