Super Bowl 2025: When and where will the next Super Bowl be played?

by Moxieplay

The NFL’s Big Sunday party has arrived with the celebration of Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders, which for the first time will host the league’s most important game. All of the world’s attention will be focused on the battle between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.

In 2020, the NFL awarded New Orleans the right to host Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025. This will be the eleventh Super Bowl in the city of New Orleans, as well as the eighth at Caesars Superdome, home of the New Orleans Saints.

In the original planning, the NFL had designated New Orleans as the site of Super Bowl LVIII, to be held on February 4, 2024, but with the expansion of the schedule from 16 to 17 regular season games, the Super Bowl date was moved to February 11.

This caused a conflict with the city’s schedule, which celebrates Mardi Gras or Shrove Tuesday, an annual parade that takes place before Ash Wednesday. Although not held on a Sunday, if there were any problem with logistics, everything could be easily managed by just postponing it by a year, because Mardi Gras will be held on March 4, 2025.

Where will the next Super Bowls be?

After Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas with the Chiefs vs. 49ers, the NFL has already scheduled the next three stops, with New Orleans and a doubleheader in California.

  • Super Bowl LIX – Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, home of the New Orleans Saints, on February 9, 2025.
  • Super Bowl LX – Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, home of the San Francisco 49ers, on February 8, 2026.
  • Super Bowl LXI – SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, on February 14, 2027.

How much do Super Bowl 2025 tickets cost if you buy them now?

The price of tickets for Super Bowl LIX at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans is not yet set, but there are sites such as onlocation.exp.com that offer ‘Priority Access’ for $2,500, which guarantees the subscriber preference in the purchase of travel packages and tickets.

Prices in general are expected to be high as usual. For example, for Las Vegas, first-hand tickets could only be purchased through official allocations given to teams and lottery winners.

While the other option was second-hand tickets on sites such as StubHub, with sometimes highly inflated costs.

Resale sites such as StubHub, TicketSmarter and Vivid Seats had seats ranging from $6K to $60,613 for the front row.
