The Baltimore Ravens are starting to get healthy at just the right time this season.
Baltimore has released the final injury report for its Week 5 road clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and multiple defensive backs could end up receiving the green light to play in this highly anticipated AFC North matchup.
Among them, the Ravens did not issue any injury designation to Marcus Williams. He has been sidelined since suffering a pec ailment during Baltimore’s regular season opener against the Houston Texans. The veteran safety was a full participant in practice all week and barring a major surprise, he should go on to play on Sunday.
As expected, the Ravens officially ruled out Daryl Worley against Pittsburgh due to his nagging shoulder injury, while Marlon Humphrey is listed as questionable. At the least, Jaylyn Armour-Davis is on par to be available in Week 5. He came away from the Ravens’ road win over the Cleveland Browns with a hamstring ailment, but the team removed him from its injury report on Friday.
Overall, Rashod Bateman was the third player who the Ravens took off from their final injury report of the week. He took part in all three of Baltimore’s practice sessions this week and did not suffer any setbacks regarding his hamstring injury.
The Ravens did list Odell Beckham Jr. as questionable against the Steelers. Beckham has been nursing an ankle injury suffered in Baltimore’s victory over the Cincinnati Bengals last month. The veteran wideout was limited in practice all this week, but he is hopeful that he will suit up to play on Sunday.
“I feel good,” Beckham said on Friday. “[I] just feel good to be back out there [and] keep the energy high. … I expect to be out there. [We’ll] see what we have going on in the gameplan.”
It is currently up in the air whether Ravens offensive tackle Morgan Moses will be cleared to feature against Pittsburgh. Moses, who has not missed a single game since the 2014 season, sustained a shoulder ailment last Sunday. He was handed an injury designation of doubtful for Week 5.
