The second half of the NFL season has begun — and with it comes even more intrigue as to how the top of the 2024 draft will shake out.
Week 10 saw the return of Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray — and the two-time Pro Bowler duly led Arizona to a last-second win over the Atlanta Falcons, who now have one of the NFL‘s 10 worst win-loss records. Further losses were inflicted upon the New York Giants and the New England Patriots, while the Falcons were joined by another NFC team as newcomers in the top 10.
Current NFL Draft order
- Chicago Bears (from Carolina): 3-7, .488 strength of schedule
- NY Giants: 2-8, .519 strength of schedule
- New England Patriots: 2-8, .538 strength of schedule
- Arizona Cardinals: 2-8, .544 SOS
- Chicago Bears
- Green Bay Packers: 3-6, .478
- Los Angeles Rams: 3-6, .531
- Tennessee Titans: 3-6, .544
- Atlanta Falcons: 4-6, .425
- Washington Commanders: 4-6, .481
As the Carolina Panthers were idle in week 10, the Chicago Bears maintain possession of the #1 overall pick in the draft and the right to — potentially — select USC quarterback Caleb Williams. The Giants‘ season has spiralled out of control, and the expectation is that New York will remain somewhere around the top three from here on out — a week 12 matchup with the Patriots will be crucial for both teams.

Elsewhere, losses for the Falcons and the Washington Commanders this week see them make appearances in the top 10. Both teams could be eyeing coaching changes if they miss the playoffs, and the potential for either one to trade up could be fascinating — especially in Atlanta‘s case, as the Falcons have a significant need for a franchise quarterback.
