The official 2023 NFL schedule has been released, and with it so have Thursday Night Football matchups. Week 2 will carry the first of TNF games, with a Vikings at Eagles matchup in Philadelphia. Thursday Night Football Schedule
In March 2021, Amazon made history by signing a deal to become the exclusive carrier of Thursday Night Football . The 2023 season will be the first of a 10-year deal (running until 2033), where the streaming giant will be the sole broadcaster of TNF.
The deal was hefty, to say the least, with Amazon agreeing to pay almost $1 billion per season for the broadcasting rights. Week 1 will not feature a Thursday game.
